What engine management systems are available for the NEW Ford Focus ST?

Loads. The Emerald is very good for the money and simple to use.

 

Most will work, I already have a Autronic on a 5cyl Volvo and Audi .

i just want to read up about it. Im not ready to buy right now as i want to get the engine in my car first but i want to read up about the differnt makes so i want have many problems installing it

 

why change it though? the bosch ME9 as fitted from new is one of the most sophisticated ecu's on the market, you can get the custom mapping software for it aswel now,

You didnt notice its not in a Focus so the likelyhood of getting it to run right in another car is slim.

yeh just said this on the engine mounts thread lol

i have the actual ecu as it came with the engine but ive been told it wont work with the matching locks etc etc

just need it re programed realy

 

maybe the volvo management? its the same engine.

 

ah, just had a look, never put 2 and 2 together....

800 quid for the complete engine is a fookin bargain - that was a good buy!!

 

haha, gonna have to try and get it in though!

gonna try and drop it in this weekend so i can see what im playing with.

gonna need custom props etc i think

anyonew have any links to managment systems etc? do you recon ill need st clocks too??
