man flu... time of the year

my throat is starting to hurt and the nose is starting to run... definate signs of the nasty man flu bug..

any decent cures? Im off to work with the tissues at the ready..

feel like im dieing

m8 i feel u....been sweating like a bastard the last 2 days, am now on antibiotics and cortisone

still feel like shit but had important meetings to attend so told the doc : drug me up

hope i'll be ok to come to the UK on the weekend....still unsure

that clears by monday pm and thats one nostril running

didnt make it for a few beers.. had to give my apologies dur to serious illness..

I almost pulled the emergency stop on the train on the way home... ran out of tissues and throat lozengers... proper emergency

My cure kills it dead for me within a day, but I'm lucky that I seem to have a good immune system and very rarely get ill.

Basically I put the heating on early, hot meal and a couple of hot sweet drinks then go to bed as early as you can fully clothed with the heating on all night, soaked through in the morning but its nothing a shower doesnt cure, best of all virus free.

Even better if you can manage 12/13 hours kip like me
