Sell the Cossie for wedding or not??? (Updated!!)
I've had my 4x4 for 2 years now and its the best car I've ever owned. I have been very lucky with it and had practicaly nothing go wrong with it.
However I am getting married in July and I think I am about 2 grand short or our target for our honeymoon. So should I sell the Cos and pay for the honeymoon, or keep it and get some finance for the honeymoon???
I have advertsied it and people are intersted but my arese keeps telling me no!!!

**** A local guy has just knoacked my door, looked around the car and offered me £4k for it, now my head is proper fucked!!!****

At least my missus knows the score, once my project is finished or all parts needed are purchased then I'll discuss marrying her

paid about £3k for my honeymoon to the dominican republic and it was fucking shit!
had better holidays when we booked last minute and it cost us less than £200

Sell it? Fuck no.
I found it all a bit of a come-down when we got back from our honeymoon as we had been looking forward to it for ages. If I was then faced with not having my favorite toy, it would have been much worse.
That would not get married life off to a good start

kkeep it, get a part time bar job, or anything, £50 a week and there you go, especially coming up to xmas, you will make a load doing temp jobs. If you sell it you will regret it, and it will drive a wedge between you and your mrs if anything goes wrong
i had a lad bought my 944 turbo once,he came and said it was for a present for his girl, she wanted an engagment ring........ i told him in the long run it will be cheaper with the porsche

if you sell your car now, a car you know is spot on and then go to buy one in a few months can imagine that would be a bit of a headache, trying to find the right car that was as trusty as your old one for the same money. I'd hold onto it mate, you will regret it and probably end up buying a car that turns into a problem car
