F2 Maxi Build Lucifer II - RL7's and a BIG Turbo!
Had a few changes this along the way well the plans have, was going to be F1 but just so much pissing about by a chap in Finland with price change Ive decided to go F2
this is what I will end up with



















started engine strip
me mates acid dipping me block, looked at bores and there mint for a 100K engine, no score marks at all


even the pitons are pritty mint, wont be useing um again tho tbh


Cranks off to be lightend and balanced and crack tested and maybe knife edged

MTX Quaiff LSD








throttle bodies being built
so far this week ive orderd
Focus RS Callipers that'll run with 320mm discs
Gear box has been deliverd to Bara Mtotorsport engineering ferm to be rebuilt as new but with the Quaiff LSD fitted inside thanks Marco Polo for the link to Bara
Throttle Bodies are having finishing touches done to them by the mane man Sam
Rear disc beem has arrived and now thats off to be fettled with
as i was messed about with the F1 kit I've decided to go F2, Cossie arches are on route need to get still RS/GTi side skirts and then maxi rear style spoiler and bonnet vent and roof scoop and front lights sorted but ill sort it
new roof panel will be fitted as to get rid of sun roof hole thanks to PhilBotley
so, geting started again lol car will be getting moved in a couple of weeks so we can get cracking on the repaint of the inside and the bay and also tart up the underside of shell thaks to Poser for us taking over his work shop for the forseable future lol

New water pump in post and goto get an oil pump

Waiting for fitting set for my Brembo 4 Pot FFRS callipers to be made
hopefully have Gearbox back next week

not much of a picture update but car delivered to freinds workshop yesterday for prep and body kit to be fitted
new roof pannel also being fitted to get rid of sunroof, i aint one for riveted plates lol
doesnt luck much yet but give it a lil while and youll soon se the progress

I have built a 2L I4 RS2K block to go in on t/b's but now ill be only using that on one track day when built to run it then remove it and either sell it or keep it as spare
Ive purchsed jasons 2.3 I4 Low comp block for turbo that ran 300BHP in his 4x4, ill be usng that in my track car now pulling close to the 300 or over the 300 mark depending on drivability of the car

Cheers lads, need to make a decision on what turbo to run on it as last one bolted to it was GT28 but been speaking with me mate and he ran a T34 hybrid roller baring turbo on his esocs that ran 360 bhp and 364 torque he reckons i should get a hybrid built for the 2.3?
before the block ran 301 BHP @ 12psi and and 300lb/ft torque so apparently lots of room left for growth

yes mate with my n/a I4 it'll be a nice race on track and we'll both be upsetting cossie's but with the 2.3 Turbo I dont know where that'll leave our competition lol

keeep with the gt turbo , maby a gt28r or something along them lines good for way over 350bhp with the right housings awsome project mate
