Only just had the head back from Karl and due to potentialy buying a big spec engine im selling the head.

The head hasnt been on a car yet and would be perfect for a big power engine.

Fully reconditioned head featuring new bronze valve guides, stem seals, multi angle valve seats, refurbished and recut valves,

enlarged inlet/exhaust ports (25mm/25mm)

Spoke to karl today and he described the head as a low lag 400 head but with the correct turbo (gt30/t4) will easily see 500bhp.

is that complete then with cams and pulleys ?

neil roper does a bigger port head than this with new bronze guides, 3 angle etc for Ł650.

 

yeah but that will be you supplying the head mate

 

yeah obviously but Ł500 for a bare head plus this is a lower spec head.
its obviously cheaper than buying a new head and getting it done by nms yourself but there are cheaper options and for bigger spec.

 

The head work from nms would cost you well over a grand so you simply get the head free.

And we all know how good their work is

tbh i wouldnt trust a flow job that was 650 quid...

I personally know a guy who does porting anf flowing and says that the time it takes to do it right its unreal...

 

all this talk of flow jobs and getting free head is quite exciting

Had a few quotes on Waples spec heads and you won't get far on Ł650

Neils heads though are VERY good, but as mentioned 1k is still not a lot for a proper head (not inc head itself)

Good luck on the sale, got along list of things I need before I shell out that sort of money on a head.

 

well thats what he charges mate for the porting and thats all id need as head is like new already had new guides 3 angle bla bla

i aint gona bother now anyway its quick enough as it is

325 turbo will be call, tried convincing Reedy into that years ago but he wouldn't have it
