right time has come.. which engine do i decide to put into my m reg escort in place of the 1.4i..

I'm still undecided as to wether to go for a S2 escort turbo or 2.0 16v Zetec E .
what do u suggest would be the best engine, i will have around £3000 - 3500 to buy and tune the engine.
