Mazda RX7 Convertible - *cheap - with pics*
Another Part Exchange to clear. For those of you that were there, or those of you that wish you were, this car is a direct portal to the 80's.
Make: Mazda
Model: RX7 Turbo [single], Convertible
Registration: A7RXC
Registered: 01/08/1989 [new at first registration in the UK]
MOT: June 2008
Owners: 5
Colour: White
Mileage: 91,000
Details/Spec: Manual, Leather, Electric Windows, CD, PAS, Cruise Control, etc. etc.
The car is fully convertible, it also has a removable targa section. The roof is in great condition. There is also a tonneau cover which is apparently worth a few bob. The roof is electric and worked when I just tried it.
Although the registration plate may be VERY tenuous in my opinion, it is still classed as a cherished number but is included with the car free of charge
.
There's a load of stamps in the service book and a receipt for an engine rebuild in 2000 at 71,000 miles. The previous owner hardly used it and only got shot because he's doing up a house and wanted something with boot space.
It's in great condition for the year, a Ford would be rusted to fuck and/or restored twice by this age, but this is good round the body. The car drives superbly and delivers the power nice and smoothly. It feels tight on the road and these always showed little or no scuttle shake with the roof up. Very much like driving a hard top.
This is an above average car for average S2 money. All you need is a handlebar moustache, a boob tube, a copy of Electric Dreams by Human League and you're set

£1999 -
I get enough timewasters ringing me up on retail cars asking "what is the best price" so please just f*ck off if you're not seriously interested.
I Experian check all my cars. This is not showing any adverse history, finance, colour changes, accidents etc. That check indemnifies ME not you, so I always suggest people get their own checks done

It's bad enough on a few grands worth of everyday car, but you must be fed up with the muppets on that £14k escos mate?
[incidentally, that sounds a nice car and I know you describe your cars properly, what IS the best price??
]Everyone's a fucking expert but none of them have any money.

I'd re-write it, but it's such a fucking horrible car that I don't want to spend anymore time thinking about it.

I traded it this morning anyway so I can be honest now
It actually drove very well and is a clean car but as far as I'm concerned the wankery rotal [
] engine is a time bomb waiting to implode and suck up all your money.
But that's no different to old Fords which is why I put it on here
