Default Cossie remote oil cooler and water pipes?

How are peeps plumbing the two water pipes to the oil cooler housing if using a aftermarket remote oil cooler on a cossie?
Seems a daft Q but if you do away with the std water cooled housing do you just plumb the two pipes together,
or is there a extra long bolt to run both water and remote housings together?

surely you won't need the water connected if you are using an oil cooler.

No stat with this kit
I’m replacing me engine in me escort n the replacement engine has a remote oil cooler kit fitted, so would like to keep it as a bonus
Not essential as I could retro fit the old bits but I would pref the freebie remote cooler idea

what about getting a big wing sump, don't think an oil cooler is needed then, but i suppose it depends on your spec.

Nope, just plain ol stg 3
Anyway it's fitted now so it's endeed up with it rigged up like this.
Top hose from the water pump up n over the rocker cover to the rear head tack off point
Not sure if I will end up with an air lock as the top hose runs over the rocker cover n is as high as the header tank atm ?
