Default zvh running problem quick reply needed (pls)


my rs is not running right at the mo and i have noticed that the vacum pipe off the ecu was connected to the dump valve and a pipe comming off the t going to nothing sucking in air would of this made it hard to start and run rough

vacuum pipe off the ecu needs to be connected to the top of the inlet manifold...

As above, also if there is no vacuum pipe connected to the inlet, this will cause it to suck in air, idle eratically and possibly cut out, start bad etc.

when you say bad starter do you mean taking about 25 seconds to fire up and maybe miss fire??? below 3000 rpm and run abit lumpy

Yes, if you're running EFi which I assume you are, either side of the EFi logo on the throttle body you'll see little nipple's poking out. if there are no pipes or blanking pipes connected, either connect the free end of the pipe between the ecu and DV to the nipple or get a mate to cover them with their fingers and try starting it. It sounds like a vacuum problem to me

no im running mfi at the moment what colour plug gos on the cold start vavle is it blue? plus i cant keep it running for long next door kick off it shaking their kitchen
