Default Cam cover painting ?

I need some advice as to the best finish for my v6 cam covers.

I have had them mirror polished, but over time the areas which are hidden from cleaning have deteriated. I would like them redone, but fear its money wasted.

Can you powder coat cam covers ? powder coating is only good for 220deg so do the cover temps get higher than that ?

What sort of finish / paints do members on her currently have ?

I powder coated my 2.9 covers without any problems and they appear to be lasting well

doesnt need to be high temp paint, and at 220degrees i should think thats plenty of give on the paint.

mines in normal cellulose paint (cause im cheap like that) and havent noticed a problem with it yet... apart from it peeling on the corners where i didnt paint it proppa.
deffo reccomend powdercoating though, be cool
