Default Pictures Of My New Exhaust Manifold From Auto Specialist

Went to pick it up from the main post office this afternoon and should have it fitted this Friday and will be at National Day on the members display area for people to see, can’t wait to see the results as I already know the bhp of my car I will try and put the rs turbo on the rollers to see what sort of bhp they will add on top, Auto Specialist said I’m the 9th person to have brought one out of only 20 made and after 20 have been sold at they will be priced at £400 which is quite expensive so anyway here’s a few pictures of it.

I will try and get the graph papers printed out before and after it’s fitted on and see the true differents.

That's gonna get a wee bit warm methinks!!!

What will happen to the nice shiney stainless finish over time? Or will you carry on polishing it? (Will anybody see it under a heatshield or did you not buy it as a bling item?)

The only reason why I brought it was for looks more than performance that’s why I have left the engine near enough standard wise I've just booked my car in at Frankenstein Motorsport tomorrow that’s £110 for it to be fitted plus £300 for the manifold, does sound a bit crazy on how much money I'm spent on this car lately and yes I will have to give the manifold quick polish once every 2 - 3 weeks if I want to keep it like new that’s more hassle here’s a few pictures of my engine bay before it's going to be fitted, I will post more pictures of it when the job is done can't wait.

Have you had it on the rollers yet and if so what were the gains?

Had it fitted last week at a cost of £110 plus £300 for the tubular manifold was going to get it on the rollers for a power run but it was an extra £45 so I just left it and thought I will get fully tuned up next year and see the results then.
When it was fitted, within one day the tubular manifold did already change to some sort of gold colour, when I gave the rs a boost down the bypass I noticed a slight change in power but not a massive diffence maybe because my engine is near enough standard and hasn’t been chipped but I’m not sure if that makes a difference to it, the engine just slightly sounds a bit louder and when you are taking off, it does have that raw sound to it, when I was boosting it down the bypass at over 100mph I slowed down and pulled over to have a look at the tubular manifold and from gold it changed to some kind of blue and purple colour which looked kind of crazy and does look good but in my opinion I wouldn’t pay £400 for it, anyway here’s a few pictures of it fitted.

Looks smart. Even better now it's fitted, wasn't too keen on the ultra polished look.
