Hi there how easy is it 2 change a clutch on a 1.1 fiesta. Can u leave the drive shafts in n spin the gear box down 2 get at the clutch. Will the clutch pedal b ok n the self adjuster wont spring out will it.

 

yes you can swing the gearbox with the shaft in and not that had to do ur self hope that helps

 

Sweet thats a great help does the clutch pedal have 2 b touched then cause they have a ratchet system on the pedal. Is there any way of stopping the ratchet system from shitting itself when u disconnect the cable.

 

Just disconnect the cable from the gearbox adjuster will be fine.
Sometimes you need some one to pull up on the clutch pedal when you pull the cable through to reconect it

Personally I always remove the shafts Gives you more room and no risk of damageing the oil seals, It dont take 10 mineuts to remve them

Or thanks mate it looks easy enough i will have 2 get a clutch n pull the box out. If im not spending money on my cossie im spending it on my work horse(fiesta).
