Default What Engine block is this??? (with pic)

as title please people, as pictured looking at the exhaust side just under the manifold towards the cam belt end (it's a Cosworth block btw )

Looks like a 205 small core plug RS500 block.

RS500

Check where the Alternator Braket bolts on.......the RS500 block was slightly different there.

Basically, the RS500 had an Alternator Bracket which lowered the alternator, but you can't bold an RS500 Alternator Bracket straight onto a normal 205 Block without grinding a small lug off the block. The RS500 dosen't have the obstructing lug there. Kind'a hard to explain, but once you compare the two you'll see what I mean.

And put up the Engine Number.......

it's got an ally bracket between the block and alternator bracket....i think the head is RS500 too i best check my vin numbers

what did the RS500 engine numbers range from/to?

Not sure of the engine number sequence, but different to that of a normal Cossie 205 Block.
