Next years F1 race calender is now out, anyone fancy this for a holiday -

Weds Sept 24th fly out to Singapore - think of the cheap watches, clothes, jewellery etc..chill for a couple of days in the city, then watch Saturday qualifying and on Sunday 28th will be the 1st ever NIGHT F1 race, leave Singapore on Monday 29th September for 2weeks in Pattaya, Thailand for some cheap beer, sun, and what ever sex takes yer fancy lol...i'm thinking this may be more suited to free n single guys lol...

I;ve organised several world tours for me and my mates to Cricket etc so its summat i'm thinking about for a change this time.

I would expect to pay about £40 tops for a decent 4 star city centre hotel, flight to Singapore then Thailand then home £500 tops iff booked early, accommodation in Thailand £15 a night max for 4/5star.

Holiday Inn is in a great location for shopping and travelling around is dirt cheap, i had a taxi for 2 hours last time who took me shopping and waited for me and it cost me a £5 and i gave him double what the meter said lol...

No idea yet Ginge the dates just come out, its at the idea stage yet, its too early to even get a flight price, but im flying to Sri Lanka soon for £430 so i expect Singapore via Thai to be no more than £500 if booked 11 month in advance, the holiday inn is about £80 a night per room, thailand even cheaper, or you could always do yer own thing too, thailands not everyones cup of tea maybe.

Grand Prix is Sun Sept 28th - a night race on a street circuit in downtown Singapore, the idea is get there Weds, leave Mon/Tues to Thailand for 2weeks

You cant even get a flight quote until 11 months in advance so bye then people will have forgotten anyway lol....but say flight is £500, average 21 nights @ £25 a night, then yer beer, food, GP tickets and prostitutes on top.

looking at about 700GBP for the flights

 

Emirates to Singapore from Manchester was £545 inc taxes for a majority of this year.

 

should have added that 700GBP price was, heathrow to singapore to phuket to heathrow i think

 

Just done this search too, all flights £726, i reckon hotels £300 tops.

Sounds like a good deal. I might be over that way or in Japan possibly that time next year so im definately going if i can.

 

Now i wish i had, but im off to West Indies in February so i cant have it all.
