A grand is alot of money no matter what it's for, you'd be asking the same questions.

You may be in the wrong game mate

If someone wants to buy a car, they want to know about it - or should do. If you sell a car for 500 quid or sell a car for 50 grand, to the buyer it is what they can afford and need it to be reliable and useable otherwise why buy it.

If anything, a person at the lower end of the market has to be more careful as they are unlikely to be able to afford to repair the car should they buy a lemon

As for asking questions via email, whats wrong with that, the buyer can email you at anytime and you can reply at your leisure with all the facts, rather than you getting calls whilst your busy and not being able to give all the details they want.

I admit some people ask stupid questions but what has been asked is really just the norm.

anybody that buys a car without asking questions is the real muppet regardless of whether its 'only' worth a grand or not.if its to much trouble to answer decent enough questions then dont sell cars just scrap them since £1000 is obviously nothing to you anyway

A grand is a grand whether its for a car or not. Some people dont earn that a month!!

I think those questions are quite reasonable. Why would you buy a car without knowing anything about it and certainly not without seeing some pictures. Maybe its just me but I beg to differ!! sorry cossiecrew

ok so a grand is not a grand when it comes to buying a car?

wev all bein there where every little penny helps..so if i was someone buying a car whether it be 500quid id still want to ask questions and get as much info as possible because that 500quid could be all iv got to spare for a car..as i could be struggling with other payments, etc..

as you dont know the buyers life story you dont really have any right to think what financial position they are in..thus calling their questions daft.. if you cant handle the daft questions dont sell the car..

well thats my 2pence
