if you got 5 wires from adding up the above you deffo need a sparky to do the job

No seriously:-
2 red=lives
black=grnd
yell/grn=earth

If you wire it up this way it'll work but its 50/50 as to weither the ramp will go up & down correctly...i.e you push up to go down. In this case swap the 2 lives over in the control box.

Is it a business? as if your dodgy wiring turns out to burn the place down at a later date you might not be covered by the insurance.

You really need a sparky that knows what he's doing, NOT a house basher.

Hydraulic or screwed?
Are the motor/s fixed to the ramp or onto the posts?
Are there any lights built in to the ramp?
Is there an indicator on the control switch box on the ramp?
How are the the switches marked on the control box?

It is illegal for you to wire this in yourself.

Has to be a qualified NICEIC electrician other wise it will void any property insurance you have.

Besides, remeber 3 phase is 415 volts so will hurt if you get it wrong

its a two poster with motor on one side, chains that run underneith to a cog on bottom of each post no lights etc

as for indicator on ramp box dont know mate,the wire is still plumbed into the ramp so that gos into the box on wall, what we can see is on the box what looks like the two red wires were connected prev so thats easy but theres a third with a metal rod wire poking out been cut, earth? and also inside the box to left is a little junction box with a black wire on it does the black wire go to that? the two reds to were they were before and the green white wire to were the metal rod/wire is sticking out from? from the box theres only 3 wires i think, iu take it they go to our 3 phase meter box on wall??

sounds like the lift needs a neutaral to work on the buttons the three phases for the contacter and the earth should read 415 between the 3 phases and 240 to earth and nutaral swap 2 of the phases for the right direction
