can you get all the old topgears on DVD? cant find anything on them

The only topgear ones i can seem to recall are the last 6 series, 1hour long ones, with Clarkson, may & hammond

these are the only ones that are ever repeated on sky

whats happened to all the other years n years of topgear

i wanna watch some old stuff

 

finalgear.com just download them

 

that website only gives you the new ones as well from the last few years

everything is always repeated on TV thats all TV nowadays

yet no old topgear, must be archived somewhere as you see clips on youtube n stuff

 

Do you mean the real old stuff with William Woolard, Chris Goffey and Sue Baker in?

I remember watching all them years ago, i think it used to be on tuesday nights for about 30 mins.

Proper road tests as well, ie showing you how big the boot is etc etc...

I'd love to find out if you can get 'em cos i'd buy 'em all as well !

Clarkson took over when the bbc got rid of William Woolard, but i think he was a "guest" reporter for them before that. Also Vicky Butler-Henderson used to report for them as well..

I think it used to be on tuesday nights at 8.30pm..

they arent available cos they are not really valid anymore, and alot are before the digital era so would need to be converted from old footage

yeah had that one saved on my works PC for ages, just watched it last weekend wen i finally got some speaker for it

smit, never used download sites before but if they're on there then i may well have to start

 

Theres some bits and bobs on you tube, but no full programs and you have to be specific in what you are looking for

 

you need to get with the program and start learning!

 

They are dead easy to use, I use Azureus http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

Once you've downloaded that go to either mininova and search for Top Gear or go to http://www.finalgear.com/shows/topgear/ (which isn't working for me at the moment) and click on the episode you want. That will then link you to a new page. Click on the link here



That will then open azureus and you need to click on the 2 ok buttons and wait for it to download

yeah jeremy clarkson couldnt test drive the original gt40 as he was to tall so they told noel edmonds to do it instead. it still grates on clarksons nerve to this day

 

there was a series a few years ago (on the new format) where they got lotus to tune a Lada up, and they made quite a nice job of it. that series never seems to get repeated?

i think it was in 2002 or 2003.

That was a one off that episode and it was a good one too Noel Edmonds was a presenter in the early days before Clarkson even joined.

 

it was deffo Top Gear that tuned up the Lada, i remember it distinctly because the guy i bought my first mk1 mondeo off was in the audience for the show, and on the broadcast he was sat in the drivers seat of the lada in the studio while clarkson was talking about it.
