Default Would you buy one of your old cars?

Quick question would you buy one of your old cars back?

Or do you think you should steer clear as the memories of the car wont be the same after someone else has had it and your better off buying a different one. Especially its been owned by people who you dont have a clue who they they are

I've never had the chance really !

most of my previous cars were written off by Alex ZVH Cabrio

Or broken up & sold in parts

But not sure I would unless I love'd it so much & she was bein mistreated or driven into the ground etc ! Sounds like a bird ! lol

Oh Rhys, thanks for the engine - she's a stormer !

Fltech good to hear its perfoming mate. There was no expense spared when building the engine. WHat power she at now? When you planning on setting in some times etc?

I only regret every day one car i sold. And i have noticed its up for sale again. Though spoke to guy and sounds like a dody brumie and worried its not going to be the same. Thought its not done many more miles since i owned it... which is strange

I have seen one of my old cars at a show the last two years, I nearly cried it been a bit 'mistreated'. Buy it back to restor it to its former glory!

But usually sold them as too juicy or needed money spent on them so probably not

There's no harm in nostalgia mate, sometimes it can be better second time round!

I had a white fiesta supersport about 10 years ago and a black 1988 280 SL merc about 5 years ago, both of which I would buy back in an instant

And if I had known 12 years ago how much 2 door Mk2 Escorts would be fetching, I'd have taken more care of the one I got off my nan that I had to scrap

my hubby owned a 3.7 xr4x4 and it woz mint .the underneath was painted red like the car an woz spotless. anyway he sold it exactly 4yrs ago and last nite the bloke knocked on the door an said he woz gonna sell it and asked if he wanted it back and its exactly the same condition as when we had it .hubby did say yes straight away but is having second thoughts because the reason he sold it was we never used it unless it was dry out and could we have the car sitting there just because we loved it . got a week to think about it do we dont we.very stressful

I've had a few cars;
1. Nova GSI
2. VW Corrado VR6
3. Audi S3
4. Evo 6 Tommi Makinen
5. VW Golf 4Motion - selling it now - bored with it!!

I'd have them all back if I could - everyone parked in one massive garage - How ace would that be!!!

And not forgettin my Series One - which will never be sold!!

what do you mean about that last bit mate you wouldnt have a clue who owned a 2nd hand car before you either? or am i reading this wrong

i would buy back my brothers old M3 coupe, and his old Astra GSI's seriously cool cars!!!

i would also buy his RS turbo back, but unfortunately some duffer rolled it and killed passengers inside the car, i think its been scrapped now

id buy my blue V70R back, the guy is taking proper care of it he sent me pics of it has had a lot of pricey work done on it, well worth maintaining
