Default Car covers (links included)

What car covers do you have for outside use? my car sits on my drive at home untill I build a garage that I havent started yet (lack of money ) so what car cover would you recommend for all weathers

Whats the length of a Mk6 RS2000

Was looking at these http://www.frost.co.uk/productList.a...ctive%20Covers but know nothing about them

Halfords also sell the car covers for about £40 http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...tegoryrn_31406

Could do with some info/advice on this if anyone knows

Cheers
Steve

They sell them for the RS2000 Mk6 this is the price:
Total for the goods in your basket: £123.20
Plus Delivery Charge to UK: £7.00
Plus VAT: £22.78
Total to be charged to your credit/debit card: £152.98

The Moltex one from Demon Tweeks 4.10mtrs would cost TOTAL COST (inc VAT) £108.63

Would 4.10mtrs be ok and is the classic additions one worth the extra money as they seem similar just want to get things right before I order the wrong one

I've got a Classic additions CUSTOM cover & IMO the only one you should be considering.

It was about £190 but is 100% fitted to your specific car!

I don't think Classic Additions do custom outdoor covers.

It's not custom for your car though, i.e. It's not tailor made to exactly fit your car. M is just the best size for your car.

Classic Additions DO do custom outdoor covers as mines currently sitting under one. My Dad also had them do outdoor AND indoor tailored covers for his FRS, M3 and Z3 M Couple.

The one mentioned isn't tailored to your car, thats just their best fitting universal one.

Being breatheable they do let a bit of water through but they're designed to be like that to prevent other more serious problems apparently.

Are they specially made one-offs then? As they don't advertise them on their site.

Trust me mate its waterproof! sometimes when i leave the roof off on the kit car, and we get heavy fuckin rain the cover has a pond over my cockpit still dry inside tho and besides, ur car wont melt anyway if it get a bit damp lol, they are breathable which is what you want as said above, you dont want it 100% waterproof like plastic

£190 mate, not cheap but if you are getting one then its worth getting a proper fitted one! Especially as my FRS spends 90% of its life under it these days.

To be fair that's not much more than one of the normal ones. 90%? I reckon it's a little more than that mate!
