Well the head gasket has finally gone on the old 2wd saph.Have taken off the road for the rest of the year to get it painted etc and also do the head gasket put in some new lifters and if funds allow get the head flowed.How much money are we talking for all this work,will do the head gasket myself but how much is all this gonna cost and where and what is the best places to buy all these bits

Porting work should be around £250 to clean up the exhaust ports as these are what strangles them to start with.
You MAY well find the guides/valves are shot so take along to head place to have a look first.
