when testing a cosworth loom for resistance/ohms should the reading be constant or flashed up then gone?ie map sensor input 4.6 constantly there, map sensor output 1900 flashes up then dissapears,then i have to wait 20 seconds or so before it will flash the reading again,is this correct?

are you just testing end to end resistance? If so it shuold be constant and very low (even 4ohm seems high to be honest). If its flashing 1900+ up every now and again your probably measuring the resistance of your body!

 

what pins are you measuring across?

11-30?
15-11?

 

supply, pin 30/11. output pin 30/15

sorted it lmfao,i was trying to measure 950 to 4000 ohms with the tester set to 2000,thats why it just flashed a reading
