My friend from work has bought a s2 rsturbo last week, got around 210bhp, anyway my twat of a nieghbours daughters boyfriend has a mk4 astra turbo, dunno what power he's got but he got his arse handed to him by an escort that was 4 up this morning

 

I think its absolutley great when that happens, people dont realise the old fords have still got what it takes

He also hasnt said what engine the RS has got either, so could be 2000cc vs 2000cc

Either way, if it was a 1600cc, it can still have more power than a 2000cc obviously

 

No idea about the astra, but the outside isnt standard, looks to be lowered a fair bit, got a different exhaust, a few bodywork bits i think so id be surprised if the engine was bog standard.

My brother was determined to sell his FRST and get an Astra Coupe turbo. Then had a play with one and thrashed it so changed his mind and still has the Fiesta.

It's always nice to wipe the smug grin off somebodies face when they are so convinced they have the better/faster car, BMW 3 series owners are ripe for humbling as even plonkers in 316's look horrified as of all things "A Ford" blows them into the weeds
