Im thinking of going to NewYork for a short break,can anyone tell me the best area to be looking for a hotel or area thats close to the statue of liberty or any other nice place in NY (my knowledge of NY is shite,can you tell?)

Yeh, me too mate, I'm hopefully going over in January, I've seen one deal thats 4 days in NY and then 3 in Vegas, now that would be a holiday!

 

Erm u dont want a hotel by statue of liberty mate as u will be in water

FOr cheap hotel do a search for the NEW YORKER hotel as thats cheap, aslong as u dont expect anything fancy etc. ITs 1 block away from Empire state, Times square is up the road etc top location and cheap. do a search for it

Hi there...there are places in Jersey to stay, but not near the Statue of Liberty.
Like Rhys said, you should stay in the city. You can even look at some places llike the Holiday Inn, and some other hotels downtown.
You will have to do a search. If we weren't moving, I would have you stay here....you can get to Liberty Park in 3 minutes from our house And where we are moving to..you walk outside our condo...walk 1/2 block (not even)...and there she is! Miss. Liberty herself....all tall

 

I followed it up ok but th guy who was going to buy my car let me down ....badly,im not going in to details but he messed me about even though i did tell him that if he wanted my car,well it was here,but he kept phoning and giving me shite excuses and then he would phone again later with another silly excuse in the end he just stopped phoning

so what ever i was going to let him have my car for a bargain but its his loss,
so not selling my car i couldnt get the 3 dr
