ok probably a stupid question but does anybody know
what the pipe from the amal valve to the metering head
actually does and if it needs this pipe for any reason.
i am asking because my car has 2 bleed valves fitted,
one is replacing the amal valve so is just working as a t-piece
basically and the other is doing its job but i would like
to do away with both of them and just run the pipe straight
from the actuator to the turbo.

The air is bled off via the amal valve returns back into the intake system, not actually required tho

 

ok thanks, so i could do away with the bleed valves,
block off the one to the metering head and
just pipe actuator straight to turbo?
