can write to DVLA but it costs money so not worth it financially... (especially considering indcators are worth about Ł2)

Yeah you can trace an ID from a plate - ask the police to do it

 

report them for failing to stop, or better still get address and report the green polo W*** *** as just going from a local pub and your sure the person was drunk and drove home

Got her address and went and spoke to her (well turns out it's not her car and her parents) They wanted to go through insurance for a bloody indicator and as i'm on Kim's policy they may try to claim against me.

Long-story-short i'm just gonna buy another indicator lense. As they were going to make it VERY difficult.

wait longer than 2 months IMHO. Try closer to 5 -6 but dont be accurate to the day or they might figure it out.

Oh and only do the same damage as you got, nothing more.
