yep i would say 30 psi is deff max. you should have a 360 degree
thrust bearing if your running that amount of boost, dont think it
last to long cranking like that. bet ya 30 psi feels like a good kick int the
ass thou lol.

I also have this turbo and it runs 30psi and had no problems and believe

me it gets used, had it on the car 18 months and its not showing any

signs of wear, but i suppose if you abuse any turbo it will end up being

expensive.

A friend of mine had his T34-48 mapped by MSD peaking at 33psi and

tailing of to 28psi so it just goes to show how tough turbos are as long as

they have a good oil supply.

With these relative smallish turbos most mappers will mapp the boost to

drop at high rpm to stop them overspinning themselves and prolonging

the life of the turbo hope this helps

30 psi held or peak???????

My T34.63 lasted 6 months running 35 psi peak and 28psi held

That was a 360 degree re-build with uprated seals

Made 406bhp on greys and live mapped L8

i run 30psi with no major problems

if you go GT35 you cant run full ALS only mild, i was speaking to stu about it when mine was up there a GT turbo will take mild ALS and LC but only use it ocasonally, if used all the time it wont last 2 mins
