Simpson used to have it on the wbesite, I got mine from the states a few years back after you could not get them in the uk

there is a few bandit helmets that are leagle now

I remember hearing they were banned, but can't remember the reason?

Can anyone refresh my memory?

 

the reason they whernt leagle is that simpson wouldnt pay for the tests in this country there was a big thing about the helmet standards test and it turned out it was all back handers and simpson said they shouldnt pay cos there helmets where safer and ideal for things like dragsters so should be road leagle but our government where having non of it but last year the low was changed so the helmet companies dont have to pay for tests

 

As Jacko says, it was simply the fact the Simpson helmets didn't carry the Snell Sticker.

Nah, forget craft, you want an original. Bought mine from a shop in Wolverhampton years ago. Demon Tweeks used to do them all, not sure if they still do.

 

You could try asking on a forum I use, its a gixxer forum and many are of the streetfighter fraternity which love and still use the original Bandit design......
