Default CVH Lack of top-end power and/or rattling.....

Mods, can we make this a sticky??!!

With the amount of threads in here about the same subject and knowing what CVH's are like, can't there be a computer generated reply to such threads??!!

If the car lacks top-end power and/or rattles too, then it has run one or more cam-lobes off, which a CVH engine will do in the blink of an eye.

This is more common if you are running a Piper or Kent camshaft.

Job done.

No, it cannot be a sticky because there are 3 mods that rule this section and NONE of them come in here, so no mod will ever see this thread and nothing will be done about it. Basically you can do what you want in here.

The amount of times I have asked to be a mod of this section with NO reply....

I give up

Sounds good, I would do it too but I have asked and it falls on deaf ears. I also asked to have a "™" after my name but got ignored.

P.S - Are you mapping? I can't get through

Im no mechanic christian thats why ive asked the question why my car has a rattle/tappety noise from the top end. I can understand people getting fed up with trying to answer the same "noisy CVH problem" but they is a small section of people who probably dont know much about engines

I was just hoping that someone had recently had the same symptoms as me and could shine some light on the subject for me

Yeah i know, all im saying is the reason why i put my post is up is cause i can just about change a set of spark plugs And i take my hat off to people who can pull an engine apart and rebuild it with there eyes closed
