gonna have a stab at fitting my Radtec RS500 style cooler on the 4x4 this weekend

any tips or advice when fitting, im a complete novice

Im not sure if its any harder on a 4x4 mate but my 2wd was a doddle





Basically take your old one out from above, jack the car up and take your radiator out from below, then slip the cooler in ( from below also ) replace radiator and hose`s and job done


Only pain in the arse is water from you rad


As i said it might be a little tighter on the 4x4 but thats the general idea

piece of piss mate. I watched my pals fit mine last sat and it really was a caker.

As said above just remove old ic and rad. slip new one in from bottom. There are already holes for the ic to mount in and then the rad goes in the holes slightly further back.

Fit is EXCELLENT and hoses fit perfectly.

well think im gonna flush the coolant out n changed the header tank at the same time anyway so shunt be too much of a problem
