went to do a drop today
came back out to find a warden writing out a ticket
so got in the van and drove off
but before i could, he stuck the envelope under the wiper but he couldn't get his camera out in time
when i stopped further up the road to get the ticket ou, there was no ticket inside the envelope

so, where do i stand?
he's got no proof that there was a ticket on the van as i was doing my best to avoid running him over so i reckon he's trying to pull a fast one and the ticket hadn't been printed by the time i returned
and with no idead as to who issued the ticket either, i can't call up to find out

so, what gives?

If he didn`t get a photo and there was no ticket on the windscreen, then i don`t think he can say fuck all.

Are you sure he didn`t get a photo before you come back out?

 

You can't pay a ticket you haven't got as there's a referance number on it

i seen a traffic warden approach my van in Whitehaven and i got in and drove away before he written a ticket.

i got one in the post a few weeks later.

i phoned the council up and they told me that he said that he issued me a ticket even though i drove away ....then they said he could not issue me one unless he put it on the van,i never payed anything

 

youre fine mate, but the warden guy is a retard. he didnt realise that ticket go in envelope.................duhhhhhhhh...

 

As said has to be PHOTGRAPHED on the van/car.
Also the council by law can only issue ONE ticket for the offence, this will be sent to the reg driver if not paid, but has to be issued to the driver which is not necessarily the person who parked the van!!, and they cannot compel you to say who was driving, unlike the courts .

Ticket has to be attached to vehicle for it to be valid. I almost ran over a parking attendant in Glasgow a few years back, nearly took off my passenger wing mirror as well. Fuck them. Only things worse are the clampers, thank fuck we don't get them up here.

 

i had one try to stand in front of the car a while back while he wrote it out....i got out and said you best fuck off out my way before i pop your fucking head in cunt...he said oooo i work for the police etc

i said you cant work fucking beaten up now fuck off out the way of my car otherwise im gona run you the fuck over.

and he got on the pavement the cheeky cunt then i drove off

i hate parking tickets!! how do i stand with this one: i got issued a ticket for a car i owned, it was a blue sierra but the ticket said black? as the tickets incorrect can i get it squashed??

 

i drove off on an attendant writing a ticket, he stood in front of the car so i had to do a bit of too and fro'ing but got away in the end!

he reported me for trying to run him over and the police knocked on my door a few days later.

I ran one over in middleton manchester, when he jumped out from behind a parked van in front of me to stop me going into a no entry except for access road round the back of middleton precinct

I bonneted him and sent him flying across the road, he was lucky tho he had just a few road rash scrapes on his hands and knees, LOL

The police came and was going to nick me but he was with another traffic warden and other witnesses that said i had no chance of seeing him or stopping in time and i was rightfully driving into the road to go to a job in the precinct itself..

so my score is

i use to get erm in kingston at 22:50
when i park at 13:00-14:00 didnt get one
did get one at that time on me old saff but got the letter wrong as there done a hide and ticket so didnt get done

i was in the van and he was saying soemthing and as i started it up he slipped the envelope under the wiper
as i drove off he took a pic of the back of the van
i was a few minutes down the road before i stopped and took the "ticket" from under the wiper and found it was empty

and this was round the back of notting hill so i don't even know who it would be who issued it

oh well, i don't pay them anyway so if the compnay come a asking i'll tell them to go figure

mind you, they dock the wages and then send you a letter telling you so
