misfire

misfire
can any one help i have just put my new engine i bought in my s2 rst it starts up spot on but there is a misfire on idel an when i rev it i have put new ht leads, dizzy cap, arm, group a coil, pump metering unit, dont know what else to do. spark plugs are black thats the only thing i havent changed anyone any ideas its doing my head in now

you replaced the metering unit before the plugs
oh dear lol,
get new 901c plugs from ford, gap them to about 0.75 to start with,
then try the car,
fixed my last 2 misfires this way

only borrowed the metering unit off my mate so it didnt cost me anything

well, it needs fuel monitoring equipment connected to it, and the fuel adjusting.
You could try giving the CO screw 1/4 turn anticlock wise as a a start.

just put a brand new dizzy on my car today has made no diff at all. when i put my foot right to the floor the revs dont go above 1500rpm any ideas
