Default bhp what mods

hiya all,i have a standerd erst with k&n and mongoose exhaust system.Im looking for around 160,170 bhp how can i get this,also how much boost can i run without any damage on a standerd engine thanks for the help

Add a GRS front mount intercooler, bin the filter for a standard airbox, chip it and run 16psi and you will have around 170 - 180bhp

as above really with a -31, think you can get around the 170-180 brake if you got a heathy engine

just need a nice chip, set up and -31 actuator, with a front mount, youd be getting close to 200 bhp depending on how healthy your turbo is

okay cool thanks all,how much is it to get set up?will it be ok 2 run 16psi?that sounds like alot?or am i bn stupid also is it the chip that needs set up so i cant just plug it in, thanks for the help

I thought 14psi was about the max you can use on standard pistons.

The pistons will handle 16/17psi

My brothers FRST was peaking at 22psi and holding 19psi on stock pistons with no bother at all for almost two years. Only reason it's apart now is for a freshen up but everything was still good when it came apart.

Wouldn't recomend running at these levels though
