My ariel for my 3 door appears to be on the other side to all the others out there. I have also looking into xr4i sheels incase it was a re shell but the are on the off side too same as the cosworth.

My car is HPi clear has no wealding and no sign of being tampered with.

I'm hoping it was a run done at the factory and then changed for some reason.

I'm having a full paint and thinking of changing it back to normal but would like to find out the reason behind it being on the nearside first. Just incase its a bit special

Any help would be great.

I once knew a guy that had a moonstone 3 door with aerial on the wrong side

 

I had a xr4i with aerial in front of the sunroof, instead of on the rear 1/4, neither rear 1/4 had ever had a hole there and they were both original.
The car was JERSEY POLICE car before I had it, but FORD aerial so don't know not much help I know but it does seem they did some different on others too.
