sorry but not really taken an interest in it until now, i understand it delivers more fuel but does it make the car run better?
basically there is a limit to the amount of fuel the standard mfi unit can give, this will limit the amount of bhp you can run with supporting mods. There are three ways around this:
1)change to efi (costly and some would prefer not too)
2)have metering unit modified by the likes of m.a.d and jamsport etc (great results)
3)run fith injector kit (mf2 fully mappable is a great hassel free upgrade also with just as good results as the above.)
Really if you want big power then you need to think about this if not you will be fine, if your tuner tells you the next stage is more fuel then the above things will help you achieve this.

MFi cannot be 'mapped' on the fuelling side, so to run more fuel for higher boost, will affect the off-boost fuelling too.
So, running a 5th injector will enable you to leave you base fuelling at a sensible level and therefore retain a little economy, whilst mapping in extra fuel for boost.

On my car at the mo there is a fifth injector, but at the mo the car is set up not to use it.When it was last on the rollers it was about 200-210bhp.If the fifth injector was to be set up would i see much of an increase?
No, you wouldn't see an increase by just setting up the 5th injector. It would only be beneficial in terms of power if there wasn't sufficient fuelling for the boost it is running, or if the engine could take more boost.
