I am making a real effort this time. I have struggled to find the enthusiasm. LOL. I will be there this month though, the car is actually running and not in pieces for a change.

i didnt even see a pub or petrol garage anywhere near marham!!!
my wife wasnt impressed when i was telling her itll be fine there, then as we turned off a small country lane and seen a big black cloud over marham i knew my actions to convince her were pointless!!
ive yet to visit downham market and swaffham but im not expecting it to be like swindon!

No mate you have to hand them back into stores for replacement to the new Death pill. Only problem is they will be made by the lowest bidder aswell so probably dont work

I go to swaffham to visit my nan, and everytime im driving through the long forest roads near the air base, there are always people pulling crazy overtaking moves. Yes, the roads are ideal to get past slower vehicles, but some people people just take the piss and come inches away from head ons at 80mph+
Last time i went there, i even saw an rs turbo being to lairy and nearly lose it. Wouldn't have been a pretty sight!

You lot drive the roads everyday, so do you think the same?

Charlie Chalk Will wait for pm....

Nash I don't thin kanything would stop him. Prob carry on pulling away butt-naked at the door.

Jimbo_ZS Seen that a few times. People get to know the roads tho and drive maybe a touch quicker than they should.
A17 is worse for things like that tho. Treacherous road in the wrong conditions: wet, dark & busy.

LAKENHEATH + MILDENHALL dodgy areas as full of yanks driving badly.
They have been BANNED from OVERTAKING, by the base COMMANDER, other than tractors etc and can lose their license if caught as too many accidents.
They have some really smart ROAD STUDS by LAKENHEATH that light up, worth going just to see if anorak like me!!
There is a road near/ish lakenheath that claimed 9 lives in one year from accidents, all bar 1 was american, the 1 english one was in a car being driven by an american(who died).
I think you will like it here it could be a lot worse, to be honest, Swaffham is a lovely little market town, NORWICH is well worth visiting too.
Good luck with the move, my dad and I managed to lift my HONDA CY50E onto the back of a 4 toner, at Colchester(1/4's) so you should be ok.
tabetha
ps I'll buy you a pint!!

when i drove up last week i went m4,m25,m11 and a10 i passed lakenheath on the left and i thought to myself how nice there set up looked inside the wire .including the HUGE golf course i seen
when i went and collected my moped from salisbury a few years ago i fitted it in my citroen xantia i had at the time and lifted it in alone!!.
i witnessed americans everywhere near lakenheath and didnt witness any bad driving despite it being lunch time.
where abouts do you live?
