Guys, if I was to send you an MFI ECU that is chipped, could you plug into it and check if the chip has a rev limiter??
I am not sure it has and it worries me slightly, obviously don't want to end up with a rod sticking out the front of the block.
If you can do it, how much would this cost me?

what do you rev to?
standard rev limeter is spark cut at 6300, and fuel cut at 6500 rpm (as stated in original rs work shop maunal)
small resistor on the board controlls the rev limeter, and i believe it can be adjusted in 100 rpm incrememnts,
jamsport posted the cose of the standard resisitor once, so you can check,
cvh bottom end pretty tough though, 7000rpm is ok as long as its not every single gear chang

Well, I am not sure if my counter is out then as I am quite sure it went past 6500 the other day.
My old bayoo chip used to pul and pull and then "BANG", like hitting a brick wall, the turbosystems "195" chip I have in this one doesnt seem to, or maybe I am not trying hard enough, lol
I just don't want to kill it trying
