still wont start

Default still wont start

cant get my s2 to star ive tried everything a new coil. leads. dissy. fuel pump. metering head but no luck yet the pumps coming on and im gettting fuel at the metering head just not out of the injector. if i leave it over night and go and try start it it will fire once than nothing anyone any ideas

is that when you get the pump on and hold the flap down and its scream if it is then yes

are you getting rushes of fuel as you crank the engine from the inlet pipe to the fuel distributor? its a worthwile check!

have you checked for air leaks/if the flap moves when you crank?

Im sure ive already suggested this to you on your other thread?

done the air leaks cant find any th flap seems all good

I had the same problem with mine. in my case i went through 4 metering units and finaly i found 1 that was alright. seeing there all 17 years old OR older there proberly all due to fuck up at some point. when it happend to me it cooked my head for about 3 months trying different things and put a dent in the walet but thats what my problem was hope this might be some help to you coz it done my head in

take the spark plugs out, and crank it over, wait till you can smell fuel in the bores, then put plugs back in, and crank it over, See if it starts then.

i recon you got an air lock in your fuel line, if you change a mettering unit or like i did, took mine of to clean it out etc. You will 99% of the time have air in the fuel lines. The way above will let the air be pushed out of the hole where the plug normaly is.

give it a go, if you haven`t already that is.

Getting are trapped shouldnt really be an issue tbh, when i converted my cabby i just turned the key and it pretty much started by itself
