OddKidd's Escort Mk4 RS 340+bhp STANDARD ENGINE!
Been working on this car for a while now, thought id start a thread here to read your views.
Wasnt expecting to be able to get such good power figures from a std engine. I will remove this engine soon to make way for a bigger stronger engine. Untill then i thought id have some fun.
The spec is:-
Cosworth Management running P8 with ALS, Coilpack, WI etc.
Green 803 Injectors
3 Bar map sensor
Pectel engine Loom
T34 with 360trust and .48 housing, upgraded studs and bolts ect.
-34 actuator
Now posted in projects.

What standard engine?
If it's a CVH, that's impressive. Just watch out for those conrods coming through the block!!

That look's like a standard Escort RS Turbo rad and intercooler from that pic, surely it would need at least a 2wd one, or an RS500 one ? Or a custom made GRS / Pro Alloy ??
Why is the passenger inner wing white ?

The cars got a complete Sierra floor than rather than being self constructed turrets and transmission tunnel, I expect that the colour of the inner wings may get sorted when the big-ish engine build goes in... is not really important though

It wont spike "bad" as its a cossie engine pal. Just off the shelf cossie engine with injectors and turbo etc.. There is nothing different to any other stage3 type saff or sierra. The shell is vey light and well built so will out perform both other examples.

The car this engine is in drives the back wheels via a T5 gearbox.
