Jesus Christ its Wet innit ?
Just been stuck in a right traffic jam for an hour coz the River Dearnes burst its banks near Barnsley, then just put 4pm news on Sky and 2 lads have been rescued from a swollen river also in Barnsley too - think im gunna go out and get pissed later - cant doo fuk all in this

The villages around here are flodding (Scholes, Barwick, Aberford etc)
One of our suppliers of software at work are down in Kettering somewhere, phone lines are dead, websites down - heard from them that they've had to evacuate the buildings and everything
Luckily i live at the top of a hill, so i'm alright

I brought the S1 to work, parked in the nice shiny private car park and i even washed it while i was here.....

Your ok where you are craig, we have sandbags at the door and all our expensive stuff upstairs . They are saying anymore rain and the bridge will go, had engineer out. If it does we are for it

yeah its not been good. Its like what you see on the news, not on you own doorstep Loads of houses flooded out literally 50 yards from our close, yet we escaped...phew! The old bridge held up and saved our asses It was like the rapids at alton towers on our side of the bridge, and at the other side it was like the thames
