Default Baliffs / debt collection peeps

i have won a county court judgement against and very large multi national . due to them not responding to the summons.
i have been in contact with them since to instruct/remind them of the claim and due payment to me.
but still no answer. so i can further the claim and instruct baliffs with a warrant to enforce payment. but the goverment court website states that its not worth doing if there is a possibilty that the company has no assests/cash.
but obviously it does.
so how long does it take for a baliff to make the visit and collect etc and what is the success rate for baliffs?
i've already paid out for the court case and don't wanna throw more money at it if its a no hoper??

there are ways around bailiffs.
If a big co, best bet is to freeze thier bank account(if you have details), go to court ansd speak to the bailiffs, they are decent people and will be only too happy to advise(outside!!) because they can't officially give advice, but may well know more about this company than you !!
Enforcement is not that expensive, and there are various options, usually within 2 weeks.
Rememeber though, that you can seize their goods yourself, and hold said goods in LIEU(instead) of payment till they cough up, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL TO DO, so if for example you can get a the car keys from one of their offices, without force, you are entitled to do so, the police have no say in the matter as it is CIVIL RECOVERY, ie NOT a criminal offence, just drive off in it, then offer it back fior the settlement figure plus any costs you incurred.

the court might be able to sort this out for you as well

or you can always ask the local council who they would recommend as you don't want some fly by night firm who are gong to get the stuff from them and then not give it to you

if it is such a mulitinational company they always have assets of somekind... you might have to get them to sell them off to pay you but thats not really your worry is it ...
they owe you money .. they should pay up... simple, im sure they have thought about this when they make a proffit each year...

Get in touch with your collection agent and instruct a bank arrestment, if its a large multi then this account will probably have plenty dough in it and whatever your after it will probably attach.

just read your first post again instruct a sheriff officer (or bailiff down your way) and once the charge is served (and decree is granted up here may be diff under english law) then you can do pretty much what you want ie bank arrest/attach/rent arrest (other form are pretty much for individuals).

They will get your money, main reason being they want their fee's.

Fuck em, nail em to the wall

but you are scottish, so things are different over there
we won't get no walker texas ranger sorts here kicking the shit out of people who don't pay up, we get blokes in suits and jackets saying "please give us some stuff or else we will feel that we have failed, even thoguh we won't get the sack ebcause no one cares as long as it looks good on their cv's"

a bit lax are they Dojj?

Im not too hot on english law though since duristiction issues usually mean an agent is drafted in.

But their usually quite shit hot up this way in terms of how they conduct their business and recovery rates but sheriff officers are at the end of the day Ltd companies with a director wanting to gain/retain clients and make a few quid so generally their pushed quiote well.

I fookin hate debt, doesnt stop me though
