I'm still trying to get the manual from the Ford Dealer!

I brought the car NEW in mid November from the local dealer - Exeter Ford, and when I got home there was no manual book or service info/stamp, or the packaging etc in the glove box. Despite repeated requests and repeated replies saying yes its in the post - I haven't seen it yet

IMHO this is a vital part of the cars history and I feel I have a good point in demanding these books. Or at least compensation if they can't supply them.

So the question is - when I eventually get the book pack - what should it consist of? I presume it will have:

1. Some kind of case (velour ford logo zip thing i think?)
2. ST170 or generic Focus Manual
3. Radio Manual
4. Service record book or something???
5. Complemtary ford logo CD case?

I've complied the list above from what i remember of an old company focus i had new but does anyone know if there is more than this?

 

Spot on mate with the exception of the Ford Logo CD Case. Plus any other bits n pieces like AA or Greenflag or anythng else you got with yer car.

 

Cheers Mav. I know what to look out for now - they've also got the Tracker information i need! Spoke to the sales man today, who was again very apologetic - "will be with you very soon - the parts dept are sorting it out" - we'll see... or

I kept the nice velour cd logo case from the company diesel dog focus so thats ok.

Yep - b'stards eh . Gave the saleman a right ear bashing . Will go in there at the w/e and give him a proper bashing , if don't get it this week.

Its only a bloody generic focus one (includes ST though), so I don't understand what the problem was! Anyway got the service stuff for stamping etc. Ain't got the Tracker info though

 

what tracker info?
is there one fitted as standard?

 

Don't think they've got em as standard, but mine has - I presume cos it was a showroom / forecourt car, the Ford dealer had a tracker fitted. Just need the info about it and how much its gunna cost to register it.
