Default Puma Heater Problem - Please help as is quite urgent !!

Hi,

Simple answer I hope on this one....got problems with the heater on my sisters car.

The heater has broke, she has taken it to one of her 'mates' to look at it and they have bodged it. Basically what has happened is that they've bypassed the heater system so at the moment nothing comes out.

As you look in the engine bay there are two black hoses that go into the car, in the back of the engine bay at the top, look like they are supposed to join onto something, well the bit these two rubber pipes join onto have snapped so the hoses cant connect to anything.

Does anyone know what this is, anyone seen this sort of thing happen before and most importantly how can i fix it ?!

Please help as she wants to sell it and I dont want it sold not working

Thanks
Michael

It looks like the part I need to get, the two hoses that join on engine bay side aren't joined onto anything, the two black pipes that stick out look as though they have snapped off and the part above looks like it should be the replacement.

I have no idea about Puma's or any Ford really so just need a bit of guidance on this one if poss
