wire rung blocks and cometic gaskets
Ye or na basically, my rs500 block was wire rung but used a grpA gasket, now i have always used cometic and had no problems at all apart from there rocker cover gaskets lol so thougt i would use a cometic on my fresh build which will be using a normal 205 block as the rs500 block is cracked so do i get the new block done or not as i have heard that cometic gaskets dont like wire rung blocks???????????????????
cometic is bought now its going to amac engineering who are the bollox aparently so i'll see what he says. I'll get the head checked and hopefully it wont need a skim as it didnt overheat and the head gasket didnt go it was all down to the blocks fault, if it needs a skim it will be lightest skim humanly posible as there aint much meat left on the head tbh.
I was just wondering if it was worth doing while i'm on with it cause its going to get 100% pure death all summer
