Hi i have an escort rs2000 and its started to judder from very low speeds when i change gear ive been told this might be a hot spot on the clutch or a sensor somewhere. has anyone elts had this problem if so what was it?

 

i had clutch judder on my rs turbo did the exact same thing may be different on the rs2000

 

chink do you think its clutch then mate?

 

yeah i would say so sounds like what my turbo was doing!!
try going in reverse slowly then put it in first if it crunches thats a common sign of the clutch going on these

 

Its is the clutch got my eye on a stage 1 clutch for Ł130 so going to get it fitted plus do my engine n gear box mounts while im at it. That shud cure the bastard.
