Has anyone had their Recors retrimed? Mine are looking worse for wear and i'm thinking about getting them retrimmed. Anybody got any pic's. I'm in west London

i have a number mate 07810733401 fellas based in chelmsford works on upholstery and interior mainly rs as he is an enthuist retrimmed my series 1 seats new foams, new cashmere they are mint. give him call his prices are very reasonable and his work is tell him Tim who had series 1 interior sent ya

hey guys , iv got some fiesta rsT recaro's that i want to retrim in black leather with blue centers. dont spose you've got any pics of how yours came out when they were retrimmed do you? im debating doing it myself but iv started to carefully remove the original material without cutting it or destitching it so i can take it all apart an lay it out in one. im finding it difficult to unclip the plastic clips/wedges that hold it all in. plus do the headrests normally not come out but just move up and down and tilt? cheers guys. first time looking at doing something like this.

 

head rests will come out once you have taken the middles out and undone the cloth around the main bolster foam there are 2 R clips holding the posts in

they will come apart mate juist be careful ive stripped some many seats lately to make a mint pair out of 7 seats i now have 2 minters

 

ah cool thanks mate, iv managed to take the bottom half apart tonight, only took about 20min as i was takin it slow, got confused abit to start with because of some bits stuck down and some with wire holding them in but now all off, just gota match the leather up and then order it. im guna have a go at the backs tomo. thanks again.
