Did you all see this in the paper then ?
my god thats changed. First time it was featured in fast ford magazine it was black, then when it was re-featured and at shows alst year it was metallic lime green colour and now it looks like hes spent an absolute fortune on it over the last winter. Must add, ive never seen it drivng round essex

Not my thing, have seen this getting slated all over the place, some proper harsh words said about car and owner. All I say, is that if it makes him happy, then good luck to him, he's lucky to be in the position to spend that sort of money. I agree, he is pretty mad for spending that much on an Escort cab, but it's his money, if big bodykits and big stereos are his thing, then that's up to him.
I just think it's a bit out of order for all the abuse to be flying about just cos it's not what you'd spend 47k on.
Oh, and the reason it's cost that much is cos it's in it's third evolution and labour for bodywork etc soon adds up, especially if you have it done about 3 times over.
I'm sure plenty of people would say people are wasting their money on making a Cossie do 180+ MPH, doesn't make it right or wrong.

I wouldnt do it, no way in hell, not my style of car at all, but thats money spent over a great number of year, it all adds up, will be a lot of people here spent a lot more over the years than that.
