s1 fuel pump/relay

Default s1 fuel pump/relay

theres more tears in my house tonight just been outside to take the car for a quick blast was running mint 30mins ago now the bitch wont start it tryed to start at first but then nothing. its turning over fine but i cant here the fuel pump priming even after leaving it 20mins can any one tell me where the fuel relay is on the s1 i no its under the dash on a s2 but i cant find no purple relay on mine heres a pic of what i can find under my dash theres a silver box with a purple connector going to it but it dosent look like the usual relay . if any one can give me sum advice id be very grateful

They are def different to an S2 one mate, i think its the 2nd one you have pictured but dunno if you can bridge it to run constantly like an S2 one....

Are you sure fuel pump is working? Might be worth checkin its gettin power and that it works ok.

Hope you get it sorted.

just been out to start it again and it fired up but died pretty much straight away like it was out of fuel. i no its got loads of juice in and i still cant here the fuel pump. il wire the pump manually tomoz make sure it aint fooked. but really could do with getin a relay sorted as im pretty sure thats what it is

just had a fook about with the fuel pump turns out to be some dodgy conector the previous owner has put on had come loose give it a clean and hey presto its alive
think i just always think the worst

That silver box is the fuel pump relay on an S1 and it looks like that particular one came out of a scrapper.
