All mfi ones are the same s1 s2 xr

 

All MFI cams are the same, EFI cams are the same aswell but slightly re-profiled over MFI cams, all are interchangable

 

Ford state two things in their workshop manuals. First, the S1 uses the same cam as the mk3 XR3i, only timed differently with a different cam pulley. Secondly, the mk3 and mk4 XR3i cams are different. So, I would assume that S1 and S2 cams are different too.
Also a fact is that most cvh versions had different cams to each other, but as a replacement part, by Ford or others, same is offered for most. This makes people think that they originally came with identical cams too.
