Default Head gasket help please ?

Im after a Genuine Head Gasket for a Escort series 2 engine 1.6 cvh but...

My head has had a skim and think it only has 1 more skim left in its time so what im asking is....

Ive been told Ford do 3 diffrent types of H/G for a cvh and somthing to do with teath on the edge like...

1 tooth thin layer H/G
2 teeth med layer H/G
3 teeth thick layer H/G

Now i spoke to Ford today and they really wasnt much help to be honest so im asking you peeps if you can put me straight please so i can be 100 sure what to get and if anyone has any part numbers that would be great ?

Cheers!

I'm fairly sure these 'toothed' gaskets are for diesels, could be wrong but,-

Possibly
Just the job.........
I bought the last Felpro copper 'headsavers' (Felpro part No9309 sp1) when they ended production for the CVH.
I've got a couple left if you want one give me a yell.

their is only 1 thickness RST h/g.

it wont be a issue if the C/R is higher due to the head skim, but get ignition set up with det cans, to make sure no det is present.

You should have done a search on here mate. You could have got a Payen head gasket and bolts from a motor factors for half the price of the Ford stuff, and they are the same thing.
