I have a 96 escort and its quite high milage 134000 and lately it seems to be hunting on tick over like when you switch air con on the revs slightly drop then it feels a little vibraty then it clears, also after giving it some gun the revs stick at 2000rpm then as soon as i stop still they drop its strange. maybe its the power steering pump playing up what else could it be im going to reset the ECU tomorrow see if this fixes it any ideas cheers ben

 

not sure check all the semsors are clean and the fuel filter as well mines hunts now ans then but ive got a burst air pipe so thats whats causing mine
